Program Overview
Career Objectives:
- Complete a career goal card and essay yearly.
- Purpose is to be sure students are aware of careers available and the path needed to reach their career goals.
Program Highlights:
- Through the Collision Repair program, students have the opportunity to earn I-CAR gold class points. They will also prepare to obtain ASE certification after they have been working in the field for one year.

- KNOWLEDGE 30%
Knowledge is classroom work - quizzes, tests, essays, note-taking, participation and homework.
- WORK ETHIC 30%
Work ethic is wearing full uniform, completing time cards, and attitude.
- SKILLS 40%
Skills are the hands-on work completed in the lab.

Program Rules/Regulations:
- Be respectful to everyone.
- Respect other people’s property.
- Student must sign out when leaving the room.
- Maintain portfolio binder.
- Clean up after yourself.
- Do not disrupt other students during theory lesson.
- Don’t be afraid to ask questions and get help.
- Be prepared for class everyday.
- Stay on task.
- No horseplay. The shop is a dangerous place; you will get hurt if you do not follow the rules.
Safety Requirements:
- Follow all safety rules, lab rules and special instructions given.
- Safety glasses must be worn at all times in the lab.
- Full uniform must be worn everyday. (No jeans. Loss of points will result.)
- Must follow NMTCC Code of Conduct.
