Description: Electrical trade basics for the business environment, including: packaging, manufacturing, and process industries. Combined lecture and lab training covers: principles, control devices and logic, formulas, National Electrical Code, print reading, motor and control circuit wiring, meters, transformers, 1 & 3 phase, AC and DC supplies, control systems (analog and digital) optimization, lighting, grounding, power distribution, MCC's, circuit protection, some instrumentation, and testing. This course is for persons working in industrial or commercial facilities who perform electrical repairs along with their other maintenance duties.
Requirements: Prerequisite: Electrical Construction I/II. Textbook included - Safety equipment required.
