Many North Montco students participate in our cooperative education (co-op) program. Three automotive students were recently visited at their job sites.
Logan spends part of the school week working at Starbrite Express Lube. During this visit, Logan was completing a multi-point check of a vehicle. Logan’s mentor spoke highly about his work ethic and positive attitude. Logan was also commended for asking questions when he is unsure.
Brian spends part of the school week working at Interstate Service Center. During this visit, Brian’s mentor was showing him how to remove a stuck brake caliper. The staff at Interstate Service Center are pleased with Brian’s attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn. Brian’s mentor stated, “Brian is a rarity these days; kids just don’t want to work.”
Shane spends part of the school week working at Mercedes Benz of Fort Washington. During this visit, Shane was completing an “A” service on a twin-turbo AMG Mercedes. This busy dealership has kept Shane very active at work. The technicians who mentor Shane are very helpful in showing Shane the proper way to complete the jobs. Shane is excited to learn so much from the experienced technicians.
We’re proud of our students for their hard work and effort on the job. We thank their teachers and on-the-job mentors for preparing the students for success in their careers.
