  • Use the JobreadyWBL app on your phone.

• Work Log Requirements
  • State-mandated.
  • Write at least 2-3 sentences about what you did that work day.
  • Select any tasks learned that day from a drop-down menu.

No-Call/No-Show

• Definition
  • Not showing up for work and not informing your employer.
• Consequences
  • Can lead to being let go from your job.
• Proper Procedure
  • Inform your employer as soon as possible if you need to miss work.
  • Have a parent or guardian call or email the Attendance Secretary at NMTCC to report your absence. (215-368-1177 or nmattendance@nmtcc.org)
  • Inform Mr. Trbuza so he doesn’t visit your workplace when you’re not there.

  • You work only a few times a week; make every effort to be present on scheduled work days.

• Monthly Requirement
  • Upload one pay stub every month to the JobreadyWBL program.
• What Counts as a Pay Stub?
  • A photo of your paycheck is not a pay stub.
  • You will receive a pay stub electronically from your employer or bank.
• Why Upload a Pay Stub?
  • It shows your employer is paying the proper taxes.
  • Ensures you are not being paid "under the table."
• How to Upload Your Pay Stub
  • Watch the instructional video provided.
  • Take a screenshot from your phone if received electronically.
  • Alternatively, take a photo of your physical pay stub.

• Reminders and Tips
  • Set a recurring reminder on your phone for the 15th of every month.
  • Upload only one pay stub, even if you receive several.
  • Ignore errors about hours not matching; this happens if you work more hours than recorded in the system.

• Receive and Track Your Task List
  • You will receive a copy of your Duty & Task list.
  • Track what you learn each marking period on this list.
• How to Track Your Tasks
  • Highlight tasks you have learned.
  • Write the date next to each learned task.
• Quarterly Student Evaluation
  • Every marking period, you will get an evaluation from your employer.
  • You are responsible for providing the list of tasks you learned during that period.
  • This helps your employer fill out the evaluation and helps you track your progress.
• Notifications and Sharing
  • You will be notified by email or Remind when the evaluation is sent to your employer.
  • Share your marked task list with your employer at that time.

• Sign Up for Remind
  • Text @mrtrbu to 81010.
  • If you have Remind, it will add you to the classroom.
  • If new to Remind, it may ask for your birthdate (must be 13+ to use the app).
• Why Sign Up?
  • Receive reminders and information.
  • Mr. Trbuza may ask for your work site location for visits.
  • Parents and guardians can sign up to see announcements.

• Availability
  • Download from the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android).
  • Use the app after completing all PYA²P or Co-op working documents.

  • Phone use during work is the biggest complaint.
  • You are not paid to be on your phone.
• Issues with Phone Use
  • Distracts from work tasks.
  • Can lead to injuries due to lack of attention.
  • Can result in errors in products due to inattention.
• Solutions
  • Leave your phone in your car, locker, or with your supervisor if you cannot control its use.
