Student Organizations

As a student at North Montco Technical Career Center, you will have the opportunity to participate in various student organizations. These organizations offer students the opportunity to enter competitions and advance through regional, state and national levels.

Skills USA

Learn about leadership. Travel. Compete. Help others. Meet career professionals. Make friends. Have fun. Students who join SkillsUSA do all this and more. Annual SkillsUSA competitions at the local, regional, state and national levels enable students to showcase their technical, professional and interpersonal skills. In addition, students learn about teamwork and citizenship. SkillsUSA students also organize many school activities and community service events.

HOSA

Designed to serve students enrolled in health occupations courses, activities are directed to the instructional program. Emphasis is placed on individual and group leadership skills and development rather than on competitive skills contests. HOSA combines responsibility with the development of occupational competence.

NTHS

The National Technical Honor Society recognizes outstanding career and technical students. The organization rewards achievement and encourages scholastic excellence. Induction is not transferable from one year to the next. Each year, students must go through the selection process. This organization cultivates a stronger image for career and technical education.
