Senior Projects

Every student must complete a Senior Portfolio.  Portfolios will be created by following the teacher’s sequence of grade-level assignments. Senior Portfolio artifacts will be graded per program expectations and assignment criteria and be included in the marking period grade for which the assignment is due. Portfolios will be housed based on the teacher’s instructions. The teacher will review the cumulative Senior Portfolio for each student by the end of the student’s senior year. The students will be able to take the portfolios with them or have access to them after graduation. 

At NMTCC's Senior Expo, students will showcase their Senior Portfolios to local industry members and network with potential employers. Students must follow all program and teacher guidelines and rules pertaining to professionalism and the presentation of their portfolio in order to participate in the Senior Expo. Students will be graded on their Senior Expo presentation.
