- A Flexible Instruction Day (virtual) may be utilized on any inclement weather day. North Montco makes this determination in conjunction with the superintendents of the five sending school districts.
- Communication regarding school closings/delays or Flexible Instruction Days (virtual) will be posted on our website and social media accounts.
Attendance:
- In order for a student to be marked Present on a Flexible Instructional Day (virtual day), they must log in, complete, and submit their assignments before the end of their scheduled class/session. This is how attendance is taken. Any questions regarding attendance or assignments can be directed to your student's teacher.
Schoolwork:
- When North Montco holds a Flexible Instruction Day (virtual day), students should check their North Montco email for instructions from their teacher, log in to Canvas using their North Montco credentials, and complete the posted work before the end of their regularly scheduled session.
Q: If a student’s sending school is closed or operating on a half day while North Montco is open or operating on a Flexible Instruction Day, is the student responsible for completing the assigned work?
A: The student is not responsible for completing work during the time their sending school is closed. Students are only responsible for coursework when their sending school is open, meaning they are attending in person or participating in a Flexible Instruction Day. If a sending school has an early dismissal or late arrival, students are only responsible for work during the session(s) in which their sending school is also open (in person or FID).
