Welding II

Description: The course covers the theory and practice of all welding processes, including off-position welding, safety, setup, and metal preparation. Students will learn Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG), Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG), and Oxyacetylene cutting and surface welding. Students completing this course would be prepared for employment in the welding field. Class limited to the first 15 students.
Requirements: Safety equipment required: safety shoes, goggles, gloves, hood, and jacket. Textbook included.
Prerequisite: Welding I 

Certifications:  AWS Certifications testing is available for an additional fee.  An instructor recommendation is required prior to registration.  Please contact the Continuing Education office for details.
