School Bus Certification/Re-Certification
Start Date: Call the Continuing Education Department at 215-855-3931 for dates.
CERTIFICATION: for new drivers who have little or no prior experience. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will acquire the (P) Passenger Endorsement and (S) School Bus Endorsement required for school bus operators. Test included.
Hours: 20 hours (14 hours Classroom/6 hours behind-the-wheel lessons)
Fee: $1,970.00
RE-CERTIFICATION: for drivers to maintain their credentials as mandated by PA law every four years.
Hours: 10 hours (7 hours Classroom/3 hours behind-the-wheel)
Fee: $810.00
Note: All adult students must present a Driver’s License or state-issued ID as part of the registration process. The ID will be scanned and screened for registered sex offenders. Participation in programs is contingent on the results of the screening.
