Description: This course is an introduction to the SLC 500TM family of small programmable controllers.  You will learn hardware configurations and computer numbering systems and receive hands-on experience using SLC programming basics. Scan time, logic continuity, and external I/O devices: relay type instructions, timers and counters are all covered. Troubleshooting techniques are introduced throughout each topic area. An understanding of basic computer skills/Windows and the concepts presented in Industrial Electricity I is desirable.
