Description: Introduction to the SLC 500TM family of small programmable logic controllers (PLC). Learn hardware configurations and computer numbering systems, and gain hands-on experience with SLC programming basics. Includes: Introduction to Programmable Controllers, Basic PLC Programming, PLC Motor Control, Discrete I/O Interfacing, Intro to PLC troubleshooting, and PLC troubleshooting. An understanding of basic computer skills (Windows) and the concepts presented in Industrial Electricity 1 is desirable.
Requirements: Prerequisite: Basic Electricity.  Textbook included.
