CDL Truck Driver Training I (Class A)

Description: This program is designed to prepare students with the skills to pass the requirements of the PA Commercial Driver's license test. Requirements for a Class A permit include the following endorsements: air brakes, hazmat, tanker, passenger, and double/triple trailers. In-vehicle pre-trip inspection and skills maneuvers are demonstrated and practiced. Range exercises include basic shifting, brake adjustments, and backing maneuvers. Additional emphasis on hours of service, coupling/uncoupling, trip planning, and D.O.T. regulations with behind-the-wheel instructor/student private driving lessons (one-on-one instruction). Includes textbook and Commercial Driving Manual.
The CDL Skills and Road Test is administered by a local PennDOT-approved testing site.
Cancellations, No-shows, or Failures are not included in final tuition pricing.
Tuition Includes Theory and One-on-One Behind-the-Wheel Instruction.
Requirements: Textbooks included - Three-year driver abstract, PA CDL learner permit required for behind-the-wheel lessons.
