Description: Build a beautiful end table from hardwood.  With instruction from a master craftsman, you will learn the basics of woodworking and finishing.  Course covers shop safety and proper use of the jointer, planer, table saw and miter saw.  Demonstrations and practice for dado, rabbet, and dovetail joints.  Students will learn how to raise the grain while sanding and make a three-part varnish mix.  A variety of hand and power tools will be used.  Student will leave with a completed table.
