SAFE2SAY
Pennsylvania statute requires that all schools establish a threat assessment team. North Montco's threat assessment team uses a prevention process to identify and assess threats of violence before the act occurs. The threat assessment team helps to prevent future school threats from occurring through awareness education, following reporting procedures, and using the threat assessment team to help students who may have the intent and capacity to commit an act of violence. The school community’s awareness and participation in the threat assessment process will help to ensure the safety of the people and buildings.
