The North Montco Technical Career Center is dedicated to delivering technical and academic programs that meet the needs of our students and prospective employers. This will be accomplished through a perpetual improvement system that ensures stakeholders an educated, competent individual capable of contributing to the welfare of the community.

Student Organizations


As a student at North Montco Technical Career Center, you will have the opportunity to participate in Vocational Student Organization (VSO) activities. These organizations offer students the opportunity to enter competitions and advance through regional, state and national levels.


NTHS – National Technical Honor Society
The National Technical Honor Society recognizes outstanding career and technical students. The organization rewards achievement and encourages scholastic excellence. Induction is not transferable from one year to the next. Each year, students must go through the selection process. This organization cultivates a stronger image for career and technical education.

SkillsUSA
Learn about leadership. Travel. Compete. Help others. Meet career professionals. Make friends. Have fun. Students who join SkillsUSA do all this and more. Annual SkillsUSA competitions at the local, regional, state and national levels enable students to showcase their technical, professional and interpersonal skills. In additions, students learn about teamwork and citizenship. SkillsUSA students also organize many school activities and community service events.

HOSA – Health Occupations Students of America
Designed to serve students enrolled in health occupations courses, activities are directed to the instructional program. Emphasis is placed on individual and group leadership skills and development rather than on competitive skills contests. HOSA combines responsibility with the development of occupational competence.

FFA - Future For Agriculture
Formerly known as Future Farmers of America, FFA enables students to develop their potential for leadership, personal growth and career success through activities and competitions focusing on landscaping and horticulture. Membership is open to students enrolled in Floral Design and Landscaping.

ADDITIONAL STUDENT OPPORTUNITIES

German Exchange Program - Students have the opportunity to participate in a three week exchange to Germany to visit our sister school in Hof. Students will learn about the German Education System, career opportunities and cultural sites of interest.

German 101 Formerly known as Future Farmers of America, FFA enables students to develop their potential for leadership, personal growth and career success through activities and competitions focusing on landscaping and horticulture. Membership is open to students enrolled in Floral Design and Landscaping.

Health/Physical Education classes are offered for students who may need these credits.
