The North Montco Technical Career Center is dedicated to delivering technical and academic programs that meet the needs of our students and prospective employers. This will be accomplished through a perpetual improvement system that ensures stakeholders an educated, competent individual capable of contributing to the welfare of the community.

SkillsUSA District Competition

 
North Montco Technical Career Center (NMTCC) students competed at the Pennsylvania District 2 SkillsUSA competition held at Western Montgomery Career and Technology Center. The students competed against students from 9 other technical schools in 58 various competitions.

NMTCC students earned 8 gold medals, 6 silver medals and 5 bronze medals. Gold medal winners are eligible to compete against students from across Pennsylvania in the state level competition to be held in April. We are proud of all our competitors!

SkillsUSA is a national organization for students who are preparing for careers in technical, skilled and service occupations, including health occupations. It provides quality education experiences for students in leadership, teamwork, citizenship and character development. It builds and reinforces self-confidence, work attitudes and communications skills.

 
 
 

BIE/Robert t. Palladino Memorial $1000 Scholarship

 
The Building Industries Exchange is offering a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating Senior who exhibits a likeliness of success in a building trades career. This Memorial Award honors the memory and exemplary character of Robert T. “Bob” Palladino. Mr. Palladino was the chief executive officer of Palladino Brothers roofing company.
 
The Scholarship Committee seeks applications from qualified candidates whom:
• Attained a “C” or better their Junior and Senior years of High School;
• Have experience in the Building Trades through education/employment;
• Involved in community service; and
• Sincere in pursuing a career in the building trades.
 
See your guidance counselor for an application. All applications are due by April 1, 2012
 

Norristown Garden Club Scholarship

 
This scholarship is for a senior who plans to further his/her education in Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Architecture, Conservation, Forestry, Botany, Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Environmental Control, Environmental Sustainability, and Land Management.
 
The amount of the scholarship is $2,000
 
Applications must be received by April 28, 2012.
 

AAA East Penn Scholarship

 
This scholarship is available to any senior who was on Safety Patrol in elementary school and is in the top 25% of their graduating class.
 
Please see Mrs. Kloss in the guidance department for an application.
 
Completed applications are due by March 13, 2012
 

SAT I and SAT II

 
Dates for testing this year are: January 28, 2012
March 10, 2012
May 5, 2012
June 2, 2012
Remember - registration for each test ends approximately one month prior to the test date.
