HVAC PROGRAM NEWS

NMTCC’s HVAC program has been granted accreditation by HVAC Excellence. NMTCC wanted to validate that their program was teaching at the industries highest standards. Based on the stringent standards set by HVAC Excellence, the accreditation process validates that a program is preparing students for jobs in the HVAC industry and verifies that the program has the needed resources and administrative support to accomplish their goals.

To prepare for the accreditation, NMTCC had to complete a self-student evaluation of the program which the executive members of HVAC Excellence assessed. An HVAC Excellence team visited the school and reviewed the qualifications of the instructor, the mission of the program, student services, instruction design and program elements.

Upon completion of their visit to the school, HVAC Excellence determined that NMTCC met or exceeded all of the required standards for accreditation and awarded a six year accreditation of the program. A six year accreditation is the highest accreditation attainable, making NMTCC a program for others to emulate.
