Description: Session 1 - Oktoberfest - October 28, 2010 Prost! We will learn to make Oktoberfest Strudel, German Leek and Potato Soup, and Pfannkuchen. Session 2 - Taste of Ireland - November 4, 2010 Irish cooking is more than Corned Beef and Cabbage. We will make Barmbrak, cook Beef in Guinness, do the Dublin Coddle, and griddle traditional Oat Cakes. Session 3-Cuisine de Provence - November 11, 2010 Ooh la la! What's a menu with out Escargots Bourgignon, Saucissons Provencal, Gratin des Pommes de Terre with Tomatoes, Olives and Goat's cheese, and to top it all off Bleu Eye Apple Pie. Session 4 - Native American Recipes - November 18, 2010 How about something different to go with the Thanksgiving turkey this year? Apache Bread, Acorn Soup, Santa Clara Loaf, and Green Chile Balls anyone? Session 5 - Japanese Hibachi and Tempura - December 2, 2010 Traditional Japanese cooking made easy. We will learn to make Miso Soup, do Vegetable Tempura, and grill check and beef in the traditional Hibachi style. Session 6 - Holiday recipes from Europe - December 9, 2010 It's the most wonderful time of the year, Winter time and Christmas in Europe. We will make Flemish Beer Stew from Belgium, Kulibiki (Pastries) from Russia, and Chicken stuffed with Prosciutto and Fontina (Venice, Italy).
