Program Information for Certified Nurse Aide

Hours: 116 hours

Day(s): Tuesday & Thursday 6:00-10:00 pm & Sat.7:00-3:30 p

Fee: $900.00

Start Date: September 14, 2010

Description: Course prepares individuals to meet the state certification requirements to work as a nurse aide in the state of Pennsylvania. The curriculum shall provide concurrent experience in the care of men, women, and children. Students will learn the history, trends, and professional responsibilities of nursing. State exam for Certification is given at the end of program. Textbook included

Requirements: All students must have a GED or high school diploma. Prior to enrollment into the class, a Criminal History Record and physical must be complete. All applicants must reside in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the last two years, or they must have an FBI check completed.
