Program Information for Residential Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps/Split System Technician

Hours: 72 hours

Day(s): Tuesday and Thursday 6:30 - 9:30 pm

Fee: $725.00

Start Date: September 14, 2010

Description: Course instruction will consist of lectures and shop practices for residential air conditioning, and basic heat pumps. At completion of this course the student will be able to troubleshoot successfully a home air conditioning unit. Class will cover basics of circuitry and troubleshooting of the control system as industry requires. Electrical devices are covered in detail in a systematic order with the troubleshooting of the components. This course is designed for an entry level job position.

Requirements: Prerequisite: Basic Electricity. Textbook included - Safety glasses required.
