Program Information for *New! Medical Billing/Coding/Terminology

Start Date: September 20, 2010
Description: Course prepares students to work as an entry level medical billing specialist. Students will receive training in medical procedure coding, insurance, reimbursements, health care standards, and information storage and retrieval systems. Students will learn in-depth terminology training. Students may seek employment in physician's offices, hospitals, group practices, and health insurance offices. Knowledge of basic computer is desirable.
Requirements: Textbook included.
